banking services chronicle reasoning book published thbis article  Its ultimate aim is to preserve the cohesion of the pool of subjects and to augment it with new potential ones. In other words interpellation can never be successfully coercive lest it alienates present and future subjects. The Bush administration and its supporters can interpellate Americans and people around the world and hope to move them to adopt their ideology and its praxis. But they cannot force anyone to do so because if they do they are no different to Saddam and consequently they undermine the very ideology that caused them to interpellate in the first place. How ironic that Althusser the brilliant thinker did not grasp the cyclical nature of his own teachings that ideologies interpellate in order to be able to interpellate in future. This oversight and his dogmatic approach insisting that ideologies never fail doomed his otherwise challenging observations to obscurity. The hope that resistance is not futile and that even the most consummate and powerful interpellators are not above the rules  has thus revived. banking services chronicle reasoning book

Buried in all his preinvasion bluster was a promise that Iraqis would give the Americans another Viet Nam if they tried to occupy the country. To many this sounded like just another empty threat but I took note when he said it. The reason for my attention had nothing to do with Saddam or any tribal fealties in his favor. Instead it gave me pause to recall a comment made to me by a veteran foot soldier who fought in World War II. We had a conversation in Geneva in the early 1980s just before the Cold War began to thaw. I remarked about the superior weapons technology that I thought gave America a distinct advantage over the Soviets and the vet responded by dismissing hitech armories. War is about killing your enemy one at a time and gaining territory a step at a time he said. And you can only do that with the grunts on the ground. In whats become a prolonged battle between the forces of technology and terrorism in Iraq Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is the latest to challenge the old vets advice. Its also looking like hell be the latest to rue that decision. However such repentance will probably not occur in the short term. Just as the Gulf of Tonkin fabrication  where the Johnson presidency alleged a sincedebunked North Vietnamese torpedo boat attack on an American destroyer  and the Watergate burglary were subordinated to the public as mere historical footnotes by the administrations in power at those times the present American presidency appears to believe its power of office can trample any truth that may give the lie to its Iraqi folly. The trappings of the American presidency are such that the presidencys ability to do this is an established fact. Richard Nixon suppressed the truth long enough to win reelection. Lyndon Johnson ultimately saw a nation so divided by the Viet Nam issue that he chose not to seek a second term but not before plunging the USA into a fullscale war. Now its George W Bush who has slithered into another four year term based in part on his administrations spin machine successfully keeping the roots of his Iraqi misadventure obscure to the public. The harsh reality is that the omnipotence of the worlds most powerful government makes the task of calling it into immediate account virtually impossible. Before any resistance can be effectively raised considerable damage  in lives and resources  has already been irretrievably done. We already know that in Iraq there were no weapons of mass destruction. This has been countered by the presidential argument that well Saddam was a bad man. We also know now that there was no relationship between alQaeda and Saddam. Yes said the presidency but there could have been in the near future this soon became a selffulfilling prophecy. Furthermore even though the presidency claimed that American forces would be welcomed as liberators in Iraq the locals there have so far shown a strange way of expressing their gratitude. How can these retorts go so consistently uncontested with the possible exception of The Daily Show which is merely a cable comedy channels satire of the news Now comes further evidence which damns the dubious premises of presidential Iraqi policy which has recently appeared in the journal Foreign Affairs. The author Paul Pillar is the recently resigned CIA head of intelligence for the Near East and South Asia who held that office from 20002005. His job included managing the Bush administrations secret assessments regarding Iraq. In the article he contends that invading Iraq was a preordained goal and that if the presidency had to resort to misleading information in order to gain support for doing so then they would provide it. The article Intelligence Policy and the War in Iraq doesnt have any new revelations. Its significance is the fact that Mr Pillar a 28year CIA operative was directly involved in the picking and choosing of data ordered by the presidency to make its case rather than being allowed to take the more ethical and responsible path of reviewing all data and arriving at objective conclusions. banking services chronicle reasoning book pdf

The court considers all aspects including physical, educational, spiritual, emotional as well as preferential requirements of a child, so it makes a study of homes of both parents, along with schools, location, neighborhoods and facilities, before making a decision on custody.Although the courts have the best interests in mind, there can’t be anyone more important in making the best decision for their children than parents. Parents should try and settle their Child Custody issues outside the courts. A custody decision arrived on your own with two agreeing parents is more desirable than the one which is disputed a determined by the court.Preparing for the Child Custody trial, you should possess certain documents and information related to your children, which will help determine the best interests of your child. It is better if you maintained a record of your children’s life about events which affect them, like visiting with the other parent, grandparents, doctor’s appointment, school activities, family and religious activities, medical appointments and counseling dates, etc. You should support your position, by keeping notes with you regarding,

1) Parent’s Home: This factors determines whether you can provide good surroundings and adequate shelter for your children, the size of the house, neighborhood, availability of help and babysitters, hospitals, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. play a significant role in determining the best one for the child. Though not an important point, it does help make a  good impression.

2) New Relationships:  This is a comparatively irrelevant factor in determining Child Custody cases, the court will consider this factor if only the relationship makes any impact on the child’s well being. If the new relationship does not play any important relationship then this point will not be relevant to determination of Child custody.

3) Status Quo: It is an important factor in determining custody case, if a child’s parents reside in different districts, it in unlikely that the court will order to change the residence during the academic year, especially if the child is being properly brought up. If you want a change in status quo, you will be required to furnish a strong reason for this. A good example would be an issue with the current conditions unsafe for the child.

4) Child’s Preference: A child’s preference is not considered by the court since the court will not give a child to make a decision for himself, however this might not be the case if the child happens to be a teenager and possess enough power to think and evaluate position.

5) Parent’s Availability: Full time parenting has an advantage over working full time for supporting oneself. However, the court might not deter from giving you the custody only because you need to work to support yourself and your child. These are just a few things to consider while preparing for your Child Custody case. shine india january 2020 magazine english
